Feedback requested for workshop

Good morning. At the upcoming ECAC-SIDA Workshop in Rochester there will be a panel entitled 'Best Practices'.  The thought behind the session is to allow athletic communicators the opportunity to share some 'tricks of the trade' that allow them to work as efficiently and as effectively as possible.
 
With such a wide range of experience levels in sports information, any Best Practice is appropriate to submit. For example, one SID may automatically send a release about a student-athlete winning a weekly award to his/her hometown media, while another may have never thought to do so.
 
There are many, many areas the Best Practices session will cover - from very simplistic to more in depth - and we would really appreciate your input.
