"Remembering Merc" - Friday, April 15, 2011 - Laska Gym - Worcester, Mass. - 4 p.m. start
On Friday, April 15, 2011, the Assumption College Department of Athletics will be holding a tribute titled "Remembering Merc", a tribute to long-time sports information director Steve "Merc" Morris, who passed away earlier this year after nearly 40 years of service to Assumption College. A legend and a friend to so many of us, he will be remembered as part of this event which will feature a pair of former student-athletes speaking, along with some stories that will be shared by members of the Assumption community. The event begins at 4 p.m. on Friday in Laska Gym on the Assumption College campus, and will be followed by a reception also in Laska. There is no RSVP necessary, just bring some good Merc stories to share and be ready for an afternoon of laughs!
