ECAC-SIDA Awards ReminderDear ECAC-SIDA Members, The following awards are presented annually at the ECAC-SIDA Workshop: Bill Esposito Award - presented to a graduating college senior who wishes to pursue a career in athletic communications. The award is named to honor the memory of one of the true patriarchs of the sports information profession. http://www.ecacsida.org/about/awards/esposito_nomination University Division Marsh Award - presented
annually to an ECAC Sports Information Directors Association member
who, in the opinion of the ECAC-SIDA membership and Executive
Board, has exhibited excellence in the field of sports information.
The University Division winner will come from a Division I or a
Division II conference or school. http://www.ecacsida.org/about/awards/marsh_nomination The Bob Kenworthy Award - Named in honor of long-time Gettysburg College sports information director Bob Kenworthy presented at the discretion of the ECAC-SIDA Executive Board to a person or organization (excluding vendors) for contributions to the corporation and mission of ECAC-SIDA. http://www.ecacsida.org/about/awards/kenworthy_nomination ECAC-SIDA Media Award - presented to an individual in either print or electronic media "for outstanding coverage of eastern college athletics." http://www.ecacsida.org/about/awards/media_nomination Pete Nevins Award for Distinguished Achievement
- presented to an individual in recognition of his or her
advancement of the field of athletic communications and advocacy
for intercollegiate athletics (must have served at least 25 years
